  3. MEAL MASTER USERS  ***PLEASE READ***

  5. I'm sorry to announce that recently (through the question of another user)
  6. I discovered that a few of my recipes (about 50) had the incorrect measures
  7. given.
  8.  
  9. These were my oldest recipes, which I had originally entered into Computer
  10. Chef and then later converted to Meal Master. The recipes that I entered
  11. directly into Meal Master are fine as they were not filtered through the
  12. conversion utility.
  13.  
  14. Most of the changes that occurred with the conversion were subtle; Tbsp
  15. were incorrectly changed to tsps and cans changed to cups. Occasionally,
  16. ingredients lines were dropped altogether. Needless to say, these changes
  17. reduce the success of these recipes.

  19. Fortunately, I had the original recipes backed up in Computer Chef format
  20. and was unable to check all the recipes that had been converted from
  21. Computer Chef and make the necessary corrections.

  23. As well, as my own postings, I've also made  a number of Meal Master
  24. recipe files that are in wide circulation. Therefore, if you use Meal
  25. Master, it is entirely possible that you have some of these recipes with
  26. incorrect measures into your database.

  28. Here's file MMCORR.ZIP with the corrected recipes. Import these recipes into 
  29. your Meal Master database and turn on the duplicate checker to overwrite 
  30. any recipes with the incorrect measures.

  32. I've posted this file on Canada Remotes System which is a feeder BBS for 
  33. many BBSes in the US, so this file should receive wide
  34. distribution.)

  36. I'm also posting a file RECSYSP.ZIP which contains a message to sysops (and
  37. here as **SYSOP - faulty files** ) listing the affected recipes collections
  38. and asking them to delete them.

  40. I'm really sorry to have made this mistake and I apologize for the
  41. aggravation involved.
